The Vimana is an original Grotta Sonora musical instrument inspired by the mythological, swan shaped, flying object described in the Indian epic poem Ramayana, which was activated by mantras, sound. The Vimana is a resonant metal sheet resembling a swan in shape and handle, it can be played by rubbing a friction ball on its surface or by bowing its edge with a violin bow.

Fingerprints on the back of the gongs, little scratches or little marks created during the forging process are inevitable even if we do our best to reduce them as much as possible.
