Saz Baglama Long Neck
The Baglama or Saz is a family of plucked string instruments, long-necked lutes used in Ottoman classical music and Turkish folk music.
Similarly to the Lute or Oud, the Baglama, has a deep round back, but a much longer neck, completely different tunings and number of strings.
The Baglama or Saz has a fantastic and enchanting sound making it one of the most used folk instrument in Turkish folk music.
It has 7 strings divided into 3 courses (two, two, three) and many different tunings of which the most common one is A G D
