Welcome! We offer high quality and affordable lessons and workshops in a range of traditional, classical and ethnic instruments.

Music Classes offered: Piano,  Singing / Vocal,  Violin,  Guitar,  Tin Whistle,  low Whistle,  Flute,  Bodhran,  Sound Healing

Cost: Group session from €18, one to one from €37.

Our ethos is to create a unique environment in which students can nurture their musical passions and dreams. This is always best done by means of fun, encouragement and pure creativity. Music is always most fulfilling when we get joy from it!

Our talented teachers

Eilís Dexter

Eilís is a singer and musician from Dublin who began her musical training at a young age with her family. She holds a BA honours degree in Music from Trinity College Dublin where she studied musicology, composition and conducting. During her studies she attended the Royal Irish Academy of Music where she was awarded scholarships for her vocal training. 

Eilís is a frequent performer and currently holds a Lay Vicar Choral position with Christ Church Cathedral Choir. She has sung with ensembles such as Resurgam, Tonnta, Mornington Singers and Dulciana Vocal Ensemble and was the conductor of Trinity College Dublin’s Campanile Consort in 2019. Eilís was also accepted to tour with the World Youth Choir in 2019 and is a frequent guest soloist with Irish choirs. 

Eilís teaches many styles of singing as well as violin, viola, piano and guitar. She is interested in sharing her knowledge and experience with those of all ages and abilities and continues to strive for opportunities that will enhance her musicianship, pedagogy and performance.

 

Michael McCartan

Michael McCartan began his musical studies at St.Colman’s College in County Down. He holds a BA honours degree in Music from Trinity College Dublin, where he was a choral scholar with the chapel choir and a conductor of the music department’s chamber choir. During his undergraduate he attended the Royal Irish Academy of Music where he was awarded a scholarship for vocal training. 

Michael has performed with Trinity Orchestra, Gaudeamus Chamber Choir, Campanile Consort, Mornington Singers and holds a Lay Vicar Choral position with Christ Church Cathedral Choir. In 2021 he began working with National Youth Choirs of Great Britain as part of their Fellowship Programme for young choral leaders. Michael is classically trained in voice, piano, violin and flute. He is also trained in traditional Irish whistle and fiddle.
